                Northeastern College believes that  quality education is affordable not only to those who are economically capable but also to those who are  economically insufficient.

NEWS: PACUCOA grants Level II 3rd Reaccreditation Status for LABAED program and Level I for Graduate School programs; Candidate Status for Senior High School program
The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) granted the Level II 3rd Reaccredited status to three (3) undergraduate programs, Level I for five (5) graduate programs and candidate status for senior high school program.
In its December 18, 2021 meeting, the PACUCOA Board of Directors reviewed the report of Dr. Esther Vedaña, the chairman of the accrediting team during the first ever Remote Virtual Accreditation (RVA) that conducted the virtual visit last October 22-23, 2021.
The Board of Directors has approved the endorsement to the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) for certification of Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Secondary and Elementary Education programs for Level II third reaccredited status for five years.
Furthermore, Level I accreditation status is granted to the Graduate School programs namely: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Education (EdD), Master of Arts in Education (MAEd), Master in Business Administration (MBA) and Master in Public Administration (MPA).
Meanwhile, candidate status is granted to the Senior High School Program during their remote visit chaired by Dr. Eduardo Dela Cruz last November 16-17, 2021.
An accreditation is a formal recognition of an educational program or an institution as possessing a high level of quality or excellence based on the analysis of the merits of its educational operation.
The endorsement certificates for each program were signed by the PACUCOA Executive Director Adlai C. Castigador and Chairman Conrado E. Iñigo Jr. #

NEWS: NC- CIT bags awards during the 12th ICT Roadshow Competitions
Northeastern College (NC) and College of Information Technology (CIT) bagged awards during the 2-day 12th ICT Roadshow Competitions organized by the College of Computing Studies, Information and Communication Technology of Isabela State University – Main Campus from May 18 to May 19, 2022. Among the awards given are as follows:
Champion – E-Sports Competition: Call of Duty (Patricia Mhay Aquino, Florence Jude Garcia, Neilsen Corpuz, Raymar Ludan, Justin Dave Fernandez)
1st Runner Up – Digital Photography (Olsen Earl Manangan)
1st Runner Up – General Programming (Jeric Sauro, Rodrigo Cabotye Jr, Jexter Tomas)
1st Runner Up – Digital Videomaking (Carl James Angoluan, Myco Corpuz, Jedideyah Reñen)
1st Runner Up – ROMCOM Skit (Carl James Angoluan, Anne Trisha Alejo, Joeuilyn Balassu, Dennis Cortez, Angelica Natividad, Jedideyah Reñen)
2nd Runner Up – Digital Poster (Olsen Earl Manangan)
A total of one (1) gold, four (4) silver and one (1) bronze has been garnered by the CIT department throughout the competitions.
With the theme “Strengthening the ICT Education Through Innovative Cutting-Edge Technology Towards New Normal”, the program aims to establish academic linkages to Higher Education Institutions (HEIS) and industry linkages in the region. It also provide students the opportunity to present their innovative ideas, approaches, developments and research. This likewise broaden the perspective of students on the skills necessary to support their ICT expertise. Mrs. Loida F. Hermosura, Dean of CIT together with the faculty and staff served as the coaches of the participants.

NEWS: “Synecdoche” wins this year’s Atty. Francisco Pascual and Madam Emeteria Pascual Radio Drama; Gawad Pagkilala conducted

“Synecdoche” from College of Education (COED) emerged as Best Radio Drama during the 2nd Atty. Francisco Pascual and Madam Emeteria Pascual Radio Drama while Apuhap of last year’s winner from College of Liberal Arts (COLA) placed as 2nd. Moreover, Gabriela of College of Information Technology (CIT) won as 3rd Best Radio Drama.

Entries for the said competition are: Ang Hamon ng Kasarian (SOM), Sa Pag-agos ng Panahon (COC), Gabriela (CIT), Apuhap (COLA) and Synecdoche (COED).

In partnership with the Guidance Center, this year’s radio drama focused on promoting gender equality towards sustainable tomorrow as part of the celebration of International Women’s Month.

Meanwhile, Gawad Pagkilala is conducted today to recognize all student leaders from different departments as well as the SSC officers for their dedication as a youth leader while facing the challenges of pandemic and selflessly serving the whole studentry despite all odds.

The said event was attended by departmental officers, SSC officers with the presence of their advisers.#
